Key Responsibilities
- Supervise YDD Associate Engineers and wafer technicians to ensure smooth 24/7 inline shift operations.
- Train and certify D0 Associate Engineers on recipe creation, defect source identification, and tool operation.
- Maintain, enhance, and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and CAS; participate in internal and external audits.
- Perform inline failure analysis using FIB, SEM, and EDX tools.
- Operate YDD inspection tools (e.g. Brightfield, Darkfield) and develop, optimize, and maintain inspection recipes.
- Ensure proper maintenance, housekeeping, and governance of YDD tools and associated recipes.
- Conduct defect partition analysis and generate detailed technical reports on yield and defect issues.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive defect source library and tool defect fingerprinting database.
- Track and analyze inline defect performance by layer, process tool, and chamber on a weekly basis.
- Perform killer ratio analysis and defect characterization across process tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for defect reduction in collaboration with module, equipment, and vendor teams.
- Partner with process engineers across modules to troubleshoot inline defects and implement yield improvement actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering or any engineering related field.
- 1-3 year experience in semiconductor equipment role is preferred
