Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on testing and integration of the product system – hardware, software, chemistry/reagents, consumables and application components.
  • Design and execute experiment protocols to optimize end-to-end workflow performance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate understanding of Microarray/Sequencing/Library Preparation technology, molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.
  • Wet-lab experience in the molecular biology/biochemistry lab environment with sound laboratory skills.
  • Hands-on experience for planning and execution of DOE for workflow optimization/problem-solving/root cause investigation is preferred.
  • Detail oriented, organized and highly motivated.
  • Proficiency in standard computer skills and statistical packages.
  • Solid communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • A desire to be a part of a fast paced, multidisciplinary, and dynamic environment.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional project team.
  • Typically requires a 0 - 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related disciplines.
  • Previous experience working with Illumina Sequencing/Microarray products (desired).
  • Previous experience using Python or other programming tools for the analysis of large data sets (desired).
  • Previous experience working with liquid handling robots (desired).
