Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of technical support and guidelines.
  • Answer to technical support queries related to aircraft systems ATA chapters such as Avionics/Electrical, Hydromechanical, Propulsion, Air Conditioning, Cabin, as well as aircraft structural ATA chapters received by the Singapore Support center.
  • Provide troubleshooting guidance for aircraft systems.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with ATR headquarters systems and structure specialist team in France.
  • Focus on preventing and resolving in-service technical issues, and provide feedback to the headquarters office to support continuous product improvement based on in-service experience.
  • Investigate, solve and follow up on technical issues reported by operators.
  • Initiate and contribute to updates in Technical Publications (e.g. Line Maintenance Manual, MPD…) to promote continuous improvement of documentation.
  • Participate in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) technical support duty on a rotational basis, providing remote expert assistance to airline operators during weekends and public holidays (approximately one week per month).
  • Occasionally provide on-site technical assistance when required at customers' site.
  • Occasionally provide on-site or remote assistance, guidelines, or training to airline maintenance personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation engineering or maintenance; preferably involving ATR aircraft.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems (ATA chapters including Hydromechanical, Propulsion, Air Conditioning, Cabin, Avionics/Electrical).
  • Knowledge of aircraft wiring, schematics and standard practices.
  • Knowledge of ATR -600 series avionics systems.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures (preferably ATR structures) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structural repair principles for both metallic and composite materials is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Leonardo / Airbus drawing sets is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of aircraft engineering and maintenance (both line and base maintenance).
  • Good understanding of aviation regulations (EASA, FAA and local authorities).
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and experience with CRM or technical query management systems.
  • Proficiency in English, especially technical English.
  • Proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone communication, with customer-oriented approach.
