Key Responsibilities
- Assist Environmental Engineers / EHS Specialists in monitoring and analyzing environmental data (e.g., energy use, water consumption, waste, emissions).
- Support compliance activities by ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and internal Environmental Management System procedures.
- Utilize web‑based environmental data management and analytics tools to track key performance indicators and identify trends.
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate environmental performance and compliance status to stakeholders.
- Contribute to maintaining records and documentation required for audits, inspections, and certification (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, facilities, supply chain, quality) to support corrective actions and environmental improvement projects.
- Participate in internal environmental audits, site inspections, and risk assessments as needed.
- Assist in the development and improvement of tools, templates, and processes for environmental data collection, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Requirements
- Working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire, or similar).
- Familiarity with environmental topics such as emissions, waste management, water and energy use, or environmental regulations is an advantage.
- Interest in or exposure to web‑based data management systems and willingness to learn new digital tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and learn.
