Key Responsibilities
- Owns and enforces the 'No Tolerance to Deviation' and Stop Work Authority policies in their daily activities, understand and follow the 3 Core Commitments. Responsible for implementing and enforcing all established company/site policies and operational procedures without deviation, escalate to Production Supervisor if challenges are discovered at implementing them.
- Contribute to proactive monitoring of important production parameters, Stop Work & escalate if deviations or abnormalities are discovered.
- Ensuring completion of training & qualification tasks assigned to them, and ensure that they are qualified to the tasks they are asked to perform.
- Safely and efficiently operate assigned processes to consistently meet daily quality, production, and productivity goals.
- Actively participate in monthly safety meetings and champion a safe work environment.
- Serve as an active member of the ALAM Emergency Response (ER) Team, qualified as an ER entry team member. This responsibility requires the ability to successfully wear and function in a tight-fitting full-face respirator.
- Collaborate effectively with Production Supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and ensure operational continuity.
- Execute the assembly and disassembly of production equipment for changeovers and process preparation, and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal function and reliability.
- Expertly operate and troubleshoot analytical equipment necessary for in-process testing and final product validation, ensuring strict adherence to product specifications.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Working Instructions, and Learning Resources to maintain accuracy and incorporate best practices.
- Responsible for highlighting any key operating documents (SOPs, WIs) that do not represent actual practice on the manufacturing for all production activities.
- Execute and complete annual personal goals aligned with both plant-wide strategic objectives and individual professional development plans.
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent for fresh graduates.
- 1-3 years experience in process, production, or project engineering, preferably within high purity specialty chemicals, food, nuclear, semiconductor or pharmaceutical plant operations.
