Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical sourcing, contracting, and contract management for technical components, subsystems, and systems
- Conduct Supplier Process Audits to drive manufacturing and quality excellence and cost reduction
- Lead supplier business reviews and manage early supplier involvement in technology and NPI programs
- Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality materials and services at lowest possible cost through effective supplier relationship and contract management
- Drive re-sourcing activities and manage Purchase Agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents with suppliers
Requirements
- BS Degree in a technical engineering field or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience in engineering, product development, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or procurement
- Solid technical, business, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Ability to lead complex supplier relationships, negotiations, and supplier business reviews and scorecards
