About the role
AI summarisedInternship at Micron's Fab10 Digital Automation Solutions Team focusing on smart warehouse digital twin and intelligent receiving automation. The intern will develop computer vision pipelines for document recognition, build web-based interfaces, and model warehouse operations in FlexSim to optimize material flow and layout.
IDMFull-timeFront End
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine a computer vision pipeline to automate recognition and validation of incoming material documentation, replacing manual data entry at receiving stations.
- Model the F10 warehouse environment in FlexSim to simulate material flows and identify optimization opportunities across storage, retrieval, and transport operations.
- Develop and improve computer vision models for document and label recognition in the receiving workflow.
- Build and iterate on a web-based interface for receiving workflow tracking and operational visibility.
- Model the F10 smart warehouse in FlexSim as a digital twin for optimisation analysis, covering layout, material flow, and throughput scenarios.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (FlexSim or equivalent).
- Proficiency in systems modelling.
- Proficiency in computer vision.
- Proficiency in web development (HTML/CSS/JS or equivalent).
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Course of interests: Computer Science, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- At least 3 months of internship on a full-time basis.
