Key Responsibilities
- Exploration, sensemaking, and preprocessing of raw disparate healthcare datasets.
- Design and development of data preparation and ETL workflows and pipelines for large multimodal healthcare datasets to support AI/ML solutions.
- Translating findings into downstream AI model development, inference, and evaluation tasks.
- Collaborating with experts in machine learning, public health, precision medicine, clinicians, and government entities on high-impact projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Computational Biology, or other Data Science intensive fields.
- Strong data science, data engineering, and programming abilities.
- Proven experience in two or more of the following: Large-scale data exploration/engineering, Biomedical/healthcare data preprocessing, Knowledge extraction/feature engineering, Machine learning methods.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in highly interdisciplinary teams.
- Quick learner with the ability to acquire necessary domain knowledge rapidly.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Rigorous analytical thinking and knowledge of research methods.
