Key Responsibilities
- Engage with researchers and clinicians to explain the data platform’s features and functionalities.
- Gather user needs and feedback, communicating them to internal teams for platform enhancement and roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with researchers to test and validate new data sharing approaches and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Support the design and prototyping of solutions to demonstrate usage scenarios with the data platform and genomics tools.
- Train users on the platform, including developing training materials such as demo data, notebooks, and videos.
- Analyze and respond to user requests regarding platform usage and resources, mapping needs to supported features.
Requirements
- Minimum degree in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, or a related discipline with strong computational and statistical foundation.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data science and analytics.
- Proficiency in R for statistical analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with genomic research tools and pipelines for population health (e.g., regenie, PLINK).
- Familiarity with WGS and microarray data file formats.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
