Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining system performance within required specification
- Become subject expert in subsystems such as automation, sensing
- Communicate and work with suppliers on requirements and ensure subsystem performance within required specification
- Responsible for system integration, test and characterization
- Responsible for system troubleshooting, new product introduction, and training to manufacturing engineers and technicians
- Document testing and diagnosis procedures to transfer the design to manufacturing
- Support manufacturing and field service team on system related escalations
Requirements
- Good hands-on experience in building/testing complex opto-mechanical systems or assemblies
- Solid understanding of working principles of instruments
- Experienced in product prototyping: experiment design, test bench setup, testing, and data analysis
- Experienced in system troubleshooting
- Good communication and collaboration, comfortable in working with multidisciplinary team and different functions
- Good perseverance
- Capable of using common programming language for data analysis such as Phython/Matlab/C is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of working experience, or master’s degree in mechanical/mechatronics engineering, or related disciplines
