Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of integrated hardware and firmware solutions for innovative medical devices.

  • Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation in line with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485).
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and suppliers as needed to define specifications and ensure project success.
  • Support other engineering or product development activities as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, electronic design, or hardware-software integration.
  • Proven experience with ARM microcontrollers, RTOS, low-level driver development, single-board computer and Linux system.
  • Hands-on experience with analog/digital circuit design and schematic capture.
  • Familiar with wireless protocols (e.g. BLE, WiFi) and sensor integration (temperature, pressure, motion, CMOS, etc)
  • Good understanding of networking (e.g TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTPs) and edge/cloud integration (MQTT, REST APIs).
  • Basic understanding of security best practices in IoT and server environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304) is an advantage.
  • Experience with system integration, testing, and debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
