Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability
  • Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs
  • Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance
  • Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations
  • Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems
  • Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible in meeting the Long-term Sustainability goal
  • Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement
  • Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking to new technology breakthrough
  • Identification, evaluation, and potential implementation of advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's in chemical engineering
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Water Treatment System
