Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for software-related issues in manufacturing operations, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of system solutions, including both internal Micron applications and third-party vendor applications.
  • Explore opportunities to introduce new systems, including AI-powered analytics and automation tools, to improve organizational efficiency through system solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and user experience, bringing up complex issues to engineers as needed.
  • Assist in crafting and maintaining user interfaces, bringing to bear AI-driven insights to facilitate ease of access, understanding, and usage.
  • Adapt and align to Micron enterprise systems to support software applications using approved software languages, databases, and standard tools.
  • Analyze gaps and proactively suggest measures to improve the efficiency of existing systems, keeping abreast of the latest AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with business users, IT, and engineering teams to define requirements, resolve issues, and support improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate and support the health of databases, including basic backup and recovery tasks, and maintain documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in training and knowledge sharing, supporting peers and less experienced team members in troubleshooting and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficient in programming languages (Python, C#, ASP.net, SQL, HTML, etc.) and familiar with database technologies (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and methodology.
  • Practical experience with AI technologies and tools (e.g., M365 Copilot) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to acquire new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift (including night shift).
