Key Responsibilities
- Research on rapid fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites in multiple matrix systems.
- Enhance compression moulding technology capabilities as part of a team of scientists and engineers.
- Work on out-of-autoclave, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, and aerospace grade composites.
- Conduct mechanical tests, including tensile, compressive, shearing, DCB, and CAI tests, and design testing tools/jigs.
- Develop and test innovative solutions to optimize composite compression moulding process technologies.
- Prepare project progress updates, research presentations, and technical reports for customers.
- Conduct R&D experiments and file technology disclosures.
- Support process equipment setup, laboratory operations, and inventory management for export control items.
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Material Science Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years or more of relevant working experience in composite fabrication.
- Proven experience with composite moulding machine operations and process troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform well in both industry-type and research-type projects.
- Excellent technical hands-on skills and presentation abilities.
