Key Responsibilities
- Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity.
- Participate in new technology development and startup alongside with Research & Development (R&D) fabrication (Fab) site in US.
- Participate in world-wide discussions such as Copy-Smart Team (CST) for continuous improvement on the toolset(s) assigned across Micron Fabs. Share Best-Known-Methods and lesson learned across the network.
- Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
- Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
- Develop and run projects crafted to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability.
- Partner with the tool suppliers and owners to explore innovative ways of doing things to overcome the challenge of the shrinking technology nodes.
- Support Fab through data analysis, providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes, equipment availability improvements and cost reduction work.
- Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
- Determine Sampling strategy to meet Production, Process Control and Quality requirement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
