Key Responsibilities

  • Design/develop/substantiate/implement new repairs
  • Identify production constraint in cell, understand available capacity and ensure constraint is continuously in production to maximize cell output
  • Ensure that all relevant processes comply with quality requirements, conduct investigations and implement corrective actions as required
  • Lead cross functional teams in root cause analysis, and error prevention
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure that relevant processes are operated in compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations and Policies
  • Ensure internal shop documents are kept current with the latest repair documents and flow changes to appropriate personnel
  • Support business productivity & cost efficiency drive efforts
  • Plan and manage product transition related activities
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve equipment utilization and labour efficiency and reduce operating costs through Lean initiatives
  • Track or collect data on yield and identify opportunities to improve yield; conduct new material tryouts; review process for improvements
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Company

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering fields or Material Science
  • Minimum 3.8 cumulative GPA off a 5 scale without rounding
  • Working experience less than 12 months in related fields
  • High change agility, ready to take any assigned rotation in technical and manufacturing operation
  • Strong dedication to a career in Aviation and a real passion for engineering/technical functions
