Key Responsibilities

  • Lead team to work effectively with Ops and Maintenance staff from the Lines and other engineering departments to investigate defects
  • Lead team in analyzing and trending condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns
  • Develop methods, propose modifications and improve maintenance strategies to overcome reliability concerns
  • Vet and review technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Review and update System Hazard log and Risk register
  • Identify and implement cost effective technologies to enhance SMRT Communication system performance
  • Support LTA and SMRT projects in reviewing project design specifications for safety, reliability, maintainability and operability
  • Provide engineering support to projects as required
  • Ensure team’s technical competency, safety, welfare, learning and development
  • Identify and report any safety concerns at the workplace

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 8 years of experience in Communication System related field
  • Good understanding of computer IP network
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze network issues
  • Adept with diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies such as Weibull Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis
  • Best practices in Maintenance Science
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Fluent in written and oral communication skills in English
