Key Responsibilities
- Support safe material handling operations involving powered trucks, cranes, hoists, conveyors, lifts, and tool/wafer movement across fab, cleanroom, sub-fab, and warehouse areas.
- Support ownership of inspection, testing, and maintenance of all material handling equipment per manufacturer requirements, statutory regulations, and site semiconductor standards.
- Develop, implement, and govern GFS safety training framework including mandatory, task-specific, and refresher programs (WSH, ISO 45001, SEMI).
- Identify training needs through risk assessments, incident trends, audits, and regulatory changes to target operational risks for employees and contractors.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and appointed Risk Management (RM) Champion to develop, lead, and own site-wide sustainable Risk Management System.
- Advise RM Team and Risk Assessment Team to ensure compliance with MOM RM Regulations.
- Own and lead GFS PPE Program Ownership & Governance, including hazard-based selection, standards setting, and lifecycle management.
- Lead GFS Incident Management Program, overseeing investigations, reporting, classifications of unsafe conditions/near misses, and ensuring timely closure.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage operational safety within a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
- Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive safety training programs.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management principles and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., MOM).
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigation and corrective action processes.
- Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 45001 and WSH requirements.
- Experience managing specialized equipment like cranes, hoists, and conveyors in a controlled environment.
