Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for providing project procurement expertise and contributing to investment projects.
- Execution of significant (tailored) spot-buys for investment projects in R2P process including all purchasing categories, like Major equipment, systems, services and construction contracts according to business needs, Procurement targets, plans, procedures, guidelines and processes.
- Optimize Neste advantages, minimize costs and commercial risk, and deliver savings.
- If executing all purchasing categories in project, then defining the basis of procurement in projects: plan, schedule and follow up.
- Executing on R2P process ensure system data accuracy by updating agreed systems on time.
- Responsible of making contracts and ensure of contract implementation to project team and suppliers.
- Supplier evaluation, updating supplier data, feedback to suppliers and procurement organization.
- Escalate project challenges, handle claims together with Project Manager.
- Participating in development projects.
- Co-operate in Procurement and stakeholders with related purchasings.
- Overall responsibility for the purchases throughout the entire process until successful completion.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or supply chain management, or similar skills.
- Preferably minimum 5 years of experience in procurement.
- Good influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and adapt in changing situations.
- Proactive approach on tasks, willingness to achieve results and drive change.
- Proficiency and fluency in English.
- Technical experience in mechanical, civil, process, and/or industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of methods and tools of purchasing and sourcing.
- Knowledge of contract and commercial law as well as contractual terms and conditions commonly used in procurement contracts.
- SAP S4/HANA experience.
- Mindset to get things done and to be proactive in your area of responsibility.
