Key Responsibilities
- Lead data security engagements from strategy and roadmap development to final delivery.
- Architect and advise on technical controls, including: Data Discovery & Classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Encryption technologies and Key Management, On Premise and Cloud data security.
- Translate regulatory requirements (such as PDPA, GDPR and other regional / global regulations) into actionable technical and operational controls.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior consultants, fostering their careers and building team capability.
- Support business development by building client relationships and contributing to proposals.
Requirements
- 7+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on data security and protection.
- Expertise and experience in Data Protection regulations is required.
- Proven client facing and project delivery experience, preferably in professional services.
- Experience with data security technologies: Data Classification, DLP, Encryption, IAM, data security in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
- A passion for mentoring and developing teams.
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CDPSE.
- Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in Financial Services (MAS requirements), Technology, or Public Sector.
- A track record of contributing to business development efforts.
