Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement material field strategies and consolidate global/area demand to optimize sourcing.
  • Identify, assess, and select suppliers for projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards through on-site evaluations (RPA, CSR checks).
  • Evaluate annual supplier performance, manage supply risks, and drive supplier development initiatives to improve overall supplier capabilities.
  • Lead RFQs and annual price negotiations to achieve cost-effective sourcing, manage sourcing decisions, cost reduction activities, and price benchmarking.
  • Plan and track purchasing targets and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives, and provide regional input for Current Forecast processes.
  • Manage all supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals and system updates to maintain accurate records and compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive, Technical Products, or Trade Goods industry.
  • Proven professional experience in purchasing or procurement is advantageous.
  • Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to drive purchasing excellence within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Advanced analytical mindset with experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance data interpretation, forecasting, risk assessment, and continuous improvement within procurement operations.
  • Advanced skills in tendering, negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Awareness of local and international procurement regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, collaborate across global teams, and demonstrate strong team player qualities.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
