Key Responsibilities
- Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to mechanical related systems
- Plan, design and lead Cleanroom Facilities mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of manufacturing equipment
- Identification, evaluation and potential implementation of advanced technology on Mechanical systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems
- Enforce to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work
- Utilize computer base software to document and analyses records of maintenance work order, equipment history and project tracking
- Responsible for continual improvement of preventive maintenance programs for systems to achieve optimal system performance and uptime
- Engage in driving system reliability improvement initiative to enable maximum equipment uptime and reduction of system interruption
- Lead troubleshooting and timely response to site for system abnormities to reduce production impacts. Carry out Root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence
- Track and monitor equipment spare parts and consumable inventory
- Plan and ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for Facilities mechanical systems including HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Fire protection system and cleanroom air systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability
- Identification and enablement of smart technologies and AI for improvement of managed tasks, i.e.: project tracking, maintenance overviews, budget tracking, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent related field with minimum of 2 years Facilities Experience
- Knowledgeable and experienced and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology
- Considerable knowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work
- Design and Engineering background of mechanical system such as Chiller plant, Exhaust & Compressed Dry air
- Proficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incidents investigation
- Ability to understand and use schematic, single-line drawing and related equipment and system documentation
- Ability to work in a team environment with various professional level
- Familiarity with sustainability efforts (electricity, waste, water reduction) is a plus
- Ability to perform automation using MS Office suite, Excel VBA is a must
- Strong documentation, analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
