Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted, strategic partnerships with smart manufacturing customers by deeply understanding their operational challenges, modernization goals, and technology aspirations.
- Translate customer needs into high-impact solutions that elevate productivity, quality, safety, and operational agility.
- Lead the end-to-end design of smart manufacturing solutions—including IIoT architectures, predictive maintenance, MES/MOM modernization, digital twins, connected worker platforms, factory analytics, and autonomous operations capabilities.
- Define solution architectures, integration models, and deployment patterns aligned with industry best practices and customer outcomes.
- Partner with sales and business teams to develop compelling proposals, value frameworks, solution descriptions, architecture diagrams, pricing, and delivery plans.
- Present solution strategies to executive stakeholders with confidence and clarity, connecting technology to measurable business results.
- Serve as the senior technical authority across the solution lifecycle—from ideation and PoCs through deployment, scaling, and ongoing optimization.
- Coach and mentor architects and technical teams across the smart manufacturing portfolio.
- Stay ahead of trends in Industry 4.0/5.0, cyber-physical systems, AI-driven automation, robotics, edge computing, and sustainability analytics.
- Recommend new tools, platforms, and reference architectures that enhance and differentiate smart manufacturing offerings.
- Guide customers as they adopt, expand, and continuously evolve their smart manufacturing capabilities.
- Act as a long-term strategic advisor for technology modernization and digital industrial transformation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience delivering IT or digital transformation solutions in smart manufacturing environments, including discrete or process industries.
- Deep understanding of smart manufacturing technologies such as MES/MOM, IIoT platforms, edge computing, factory automation, robotics, AI/ML for quality and maintenance, digital twins, and cyber-physical systems.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in solution architecture or solution design with significant exposure to manufacturing clients.
- Strong expertise in cloud, data, AI/ML, IoT/IIoT, integration patterns, and modern factory technology ecosystems.
- Outstanding communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of designing innovative and scalable solutions.
- Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional project leadership.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple concurrent engagements.
