Key Responsibilities
- Assist Process Engineers in troubleshooting wafer-level process deviations, defects, and equipment abnormalities.
- Perform initial containment actions (e.g., tool checks, recipe verification, wafer disposition).
- Conduct root-cause information gathering, including tool history checks, SPC charts, equipment logs, and process audits.
- Support execution of corrective actions and process recovery steps after excursions.
- Run DOE wafers according to engineering specifications and ensure precise parameter control.
- Prepare and stage materials required for experimental runs.
- Document run conditions, equipment settings, and any observed abnormalities.
- Provide timely feedback to engineers to accelerate experimental learning cycles.
- Perform data collection using metrology and inspection tools (e.g., SEM, optical microscopes, profilometry, ellipsometry, CD measurements).
- Compile experimental and production data into structured logs and engineering reports.
- Assist in SPC monitoring, trend analysis, and early detection of process drifts.
- Maintain accurate records in MES/LIMS or engineering databases.
Requirements
- Hands-on, analytical, and passionate about supporting next-generation wafer technologies.
