Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute metabolomics experiments using LC-MS and GC-MS platforms.
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for metabolite identification and quantification.

- Perform data processing, statistical analysis, and interpretation of metabolomics datasets.

- Present findings at group meetings and contribute to scientific publications.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Metabolomics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS and/or GC-MS instrumentation.
- Proficiency in metabolomics data analysis software (e.g., XCMS, MZmine, Compound Discoverer).
- Experience with sample preparation techniques for metabolomics (e.g., extraction, derivatization).
- Knowledge of statistical methods and multivariate analysis for metabolomics data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
- Experience with bioinformatics tools and scripting (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
