Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Group Credit function for the Commercial Banking portfolio, ensuring sound credit risk management practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in commercial banking.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk principles, including credit analysis, structuring, and portfolio management.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, including MAS guidelines and Basel frameworks.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a team of credit professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess complex credit risks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior management and business heads.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
  • Experience in credit risk systems and data analytics is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
