Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace facilities mechanical components and systems including electrical equipment, HVAC, chemical, energy, ultra water & wastewater treatment.
- Oversee and hire outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers, and roofers.
- Maintain and secure facilities equipment assets.
- Develop and implement capital improvement projects, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design, and bidding for construction, remodeling, and renovation.
- Conduct periodic inspections of work in progress and advise construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications.
- Inspect existing facilities and prepare reports on condition, observed deficiencies, necessary repair designs, and estimated repair costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Around 3 years of experience handling facilities on the Mechanical Fronts.
- Hands-on experience with Chiller and Pumps.
- Ability to manage Plumbers & Contractors onsite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
