Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits
  • Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems; and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects
  • Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel
  • Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
  • Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects
  • Ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements
  • Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
  • Reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management
  • Ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
  • Ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/business process when changes are planned and implemented

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
  • Must be able and willing to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts)
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
