Key Responsibilities
- Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all control operations
- Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline
- Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of control systems
- Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies
- Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands
- Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades
- Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience
- Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities
- Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency
- Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence
Requirements
- Master's/Bachelor’s/advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments
- Possession of certification on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
- Possession of certification on SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
- Knowledge of Python/R, Web development (Front end and Back end), Software ecosystem (Hadoop), database (SQL), statistical knowledge or relevant programming skills
- Knowledge and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology
- Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work for PLC, Instrumentation, Toxic Gas Monitoring and SCADA
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment, Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous
