Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day EHS support to meet the Singapore EHS requirements, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), Customer Requirements, KLA EHS policy and program.
  • Ensure the functionality of the factory site safety committee.
  • Be appointed as Workplace Safety & Health Officer.
  • Implement EHS management system / policy per ISO45001 & ISO14001, RBA requirements, and local safety regulations.
  • Organize and conduct regular new hire safety orientation and other EHS trainings according to the training plan and company needs.
  • Conduct regular and periodic site EHS inspections, audits and risk assessment, incident investigation, etc.
  • Collaborate with field service operations and others. Provide assistance, support and technical expertise on field service and install operations when needed.
  • Partner with and manufacturing leads, supervisors, managers, and team leaders in incident investigations, corrective action deployment, and effectiveness evaluations.
  • Promote incorporation of EHS into business planning and assist with establishing EHS as a business and management performance measure.
  • Assist with the implementation of business continuity plan, emergency response plan, company audit program and reviewing EHS performance and work practices against statutory and company requirements.
  • Track, arrange and timely renew all equipment, building and related licenses ensuring compliance to governmental regulations.
  • Provide support to our ESG (sustainability) efforts for the sites under your span of control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree, relevant qualifications in Safety, Environmental, Risk Management, Occupational Hygiene or equivalent.
  • Holds a Singapore Workplace Safety & Health Officer Certification.
  • A Fire Safety Manager certification will be considered an advantage.
  • 5 years or more experience in a large manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in RBA, Business Continuity Plan, ISO14001 & ISO45001 management system, FM Loss Prevention Program, bizSAFE program, building construction safety, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
