Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple UC disciplines, identifying and executing continuous improvement projects for existing systems.
- Resolve complex problem tickets and lead responses during multiple system outages across the UC environment.
- Manage and support Microsoft Teams collaboration and voice platform, including Teams Rooms, Teams Phone, and voice integrations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain critical voice infrastructure components such as SIP, SBCs, gateways, QoS, and call flow analysis.
- Provide expert support across major platforms including Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet to ensure compatibility and best practices.
- Monitor and alert on UC environments using advanced monitoring tools, while evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to enhance reliability.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials for both IT staff and end-users.
- Collaborate with vendors and global teams to manage rollouts and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Unified Communications roles.
- Deep understanding and practical knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, and Teams Phone.
- Strong technical knowledge of SIP, SBCs, voice gateways, and enterprise voice design principles.
- Proven experience with meeting room AV solutions including Crestron, Logitech, and BYOD setups.
- Familiarity with UC monitoring tools and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Strong documentation, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
