Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain engineering projects, ensuring alignment with our quality system, regulations, customer requirements, timelines, and budgets.

  • Establish and maintain clear commercial targets and design concepts as guiding principles throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Integrate project execution into ResMed’s Portfolio Management and Governance systems.
  • Plan and manage project budgets in line with ROI targets; provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
  • Deliver timely assessments on project viability and highlight critical path dependencies and risks.
  • Lead matrix-managed teams by clearly articulating goals, managing performance, and promoting accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Formal training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, DFSS, experimental design).
  • Proven ability to manage scheduling, cost, and performance of design projects.
  • Effective change management skills to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage competing priorities and stakeholder interests.
  • Track record of delivering projects aligned with time-to-market objectives.
  • Significant project management experience, ideally in a regulated industry.
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Broad commercial experience across multiple business functions.
