Key Responsibilities

- Take full accountability for day ‑ to ‑ day HSE execution at ABB sites, workshops, and internal operations, ensuring risk assessments, controls, permits, and safe work practices are effectively implemented and sustained in line with ABB standards and local regulations.
- Lead the response, investigation, and corrective actions for HSE incidents and non ‑ compliance at ABB sites and directly engage with customers only when escalation is required, including addressing complaints, regulatory concerns, or serious breaches involving ABB employees on customer premises.
- Hold ABB line managers, supervisors, and employees accountable for HSE responsibilities; ensure workforce competency, training, and use of appropriate equipment through regular site presence, audits, and operational reviews.
Requirements
- Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice.
- You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
- Degree or professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, with recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent).
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in managing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) from policies, policies, standards, programs, and practices
