Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research on 3D skin model development, including hiPSC cell culture, isolation, and differentiation of human immune cells.
- Perform gene editing and 3D tissue culture within microfluidic devices.
- Process and characterize tissues using histology, immunostaining, fluorescence, confocal microscopy, qPCR, flow cytometry, and multi-omics.
- Generate reproducible high-quality data, perform data analysis, and prepare scientific reports and figures.
- Support general laboratory operations, including maintaining experiment documentation, preparing risk assessments, and ensuring safety compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in cell culture and 3D tissue model development and validation.
- Proficiency in microscopy-based analysis, including confocal imaging.
- Experience with histology, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, and tissue characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and 3D cell-based functional assays.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
