Key Responsibilities
- Lead process development, scale-up and technology transfer activities for chemical unit operations.
- Design and execute experiments to troubleshoot production issues and reduce process variability.
- Translate control strategies and critical process parameters into clear, usable site standard work.
- Support process qualification, validation and change control activities with robust technical documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance yield, safety, cost-efficiency and sustainability.
- Coach and share knowledge with manufacturing and engineering teams to strengthen technical capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in regulated manufacturing, process development, or technical operations.
- Practical knowledge of chemical unit operations (mixing, filtration, heat transfer, distillation, drying).
- Experience with process troubleshooting, root cause analysis and experimental design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical reporting.
- Willingness to work on-site in Singapore; this role is on-site to support manufacturing operations.
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Experience with technology transfer, process validation, and continued process verification.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory expectations.
- Knowledge of process safety principles and experience performing risk assessments.
- Hands-on experience with statistical tools for process capability and trend analysis.
- Experience working in cross-functional projects and coaching less experienced colleagues.
