Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the I4.0 product roadmap, aligning with business objectives and manufacturing strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, data science, operations) to deliver integrated smart manufacturing solutions
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from end users and stakeholders, develop business cases, validate impact, and propose high-ROI projects for implementation
- Understand business problems and effectively translate user requirements into technical specifications—and vice versa—for data science, technical solution, and IT teams
- Collaborate with global teams to deploy and maintain data science solutions in production environments, ensure data quality, integrity, and continuous improvement across all relevant data sources
- Document artifacts related to software development, design, test cases, user training and releases
- Communicate effectively with peers, senior management, and external partners
- Ensure optimization and standardization of tools and processes by leveraging central team business partner to enable sustainable scaling across sites
- Provide expert guidance on system interfaces, capabilities, and process improvements
- Design and develop intuitive and responsive user interface for interactive data visualization to explain insights from data or analytic models
- Create wireframes, prototypes and UI mockups based on business requirements and user feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in smart manufacturing, process engineering, or similar operations, with proven I4.0 project delivery
- Proven experience leading cross-functional and global teams, with strong collaboration skills across peers, senior, and mid-level management
- Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, SQL, database management systems such as Snowflake)
- Proficiency in web development (Angular, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML) and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power Platform)
- Experience with APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and Agile development processes
- Strong domain knowledge in capacity modeling, planning and optimization, or line management and manufacturing performance monitoring
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., MES, SAP) is a plus
- Self-motivated, with strong ownership and ability to work independently
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organized and ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing business needs
