Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate advanced AI and machine learning solutions for pathological diagnosis using digitized pathology slides.
- Apply image processing, computer vision, and mathematical modeling to cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
- Implement numerical computational algorithms using programming languages like Python or Matlab.
- Conduct independent research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Collaborate effectively with lab members and potentially with hospitals/clinical settings.
- Present research findings at internal and external seminars and conferences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Matlab, C/C++, or Python.
- Extensive knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, and digital image processing.
- Practical coding skills in implementing numerical computational algorithms.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking to solve complex scientific problems.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Highly motivated scientist or recent Ph.D. graduate passionate about AI/computer vision projects.
- Ability to conduct independent research while being a strong team player.
- Excellent scientific and technical writing skills for reports and papers.
