Key Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Network Infrastructure team to ensure that DSO enterprise IT networks and systems are developed and deployed in an efficient and robust manner towards a high level of maintainability, reliability and availability
  • Optimise IT networks and system performance and availability that is balanced with the security requirements
  • Manage vendors in the development and deployment of IT network systems
  • Drive IT productivity and improved efficiency through automation/scripting
  • Collaborate with other members of the team on design and troubleshooting issues
  • Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot and conduct root-cause analysis for any issues regarding the enterprise IT networks

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Preferred 5 to 10 years of relevant IT experience in designing, deploying and managing complex IT infrastructure systems and services
  • Strong fundamental knowledge and technical hands-on experience in IT infrastructure technology and architecture, including networking devices such as firewall, VPN, IPS, switch, router, DHCP
  • Good working experience on IT Security (e.g. OS/System hardening, vulnerability remediation)
  • Experience in planning, designing, deploying and operating system for complex IT infrastructure, project/contract/vendor management
  • Proficient in network design and architecture involving LAN/WAN, VPN and wireless solutions
  • Proficient in network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers
  • Strong knowledge of network security technologies including IPS, VPNs, firewalls and access control measures
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
  • Relevant experience in PowerShell / other scripting languages, automation tools like Ansible
  • Good written and verbal communication and ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audience and senior management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, team interaction/effectiveness, proactive, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Professional certifications will be an added advantage eg CCNP, CCIE
