Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construction of regional green field project with alignment to global standards and collaboration with central sustainability, cost, construction and line planning team.
  • Engineering support for site projects, Alpha to Beta technology transfer and sustainability projects.
  • Review and approve site capacity expansion and sustainability capex.
  • Review priority and make business driven decision on Facilities Reliability Improvement project capex.
  • Engineering support for site system improvement projects (System Reliability Improvements, Quality Improvement and Equipment EOL replacements).
  • Oversee regional efforts and identify opportunities to align strategic program (eg BCP, Critical spec, Quality Defense line).
  • Engineering support for major SIPP review.
  • Regional events lesson learnt sharing and influence of global standards development.
  • Single point of contact for regional sites and GFC central teams.
  • Provide alignment on metrics reporting.
  • Expert understanding of each sites mechanical systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support.
  • Technically lead a global cross functional team focused on project, design, construction, operational excellence with the site mechanical systems engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent analytical and good decision making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities.
