Key Responsibilities
- Personally accountable for high quality and timely actions when performing trouble-shooting interventions following FSTD failures or reports of discrepancies.
- Accountable for performing ad-hoc technical trouble-shooting, sometimes without immediate supervision, to minimize the time lost and disruption to FSTD users.
- Prepares training devices for daily operation and follows maintenance activities or between user sessions.
- Promptly communicates to line management on all matters for their attention.
- Ensures clear and effective communication when completing Defect Report (DR) comments & Work Orders.
- Ability to interact effectively with users to help determine root causes of failures and discrepancies.
- Ensure training devices operate at the correct level required by customers through timely configuration changes and software updates when applicable.
- Complies with the Compliance Monitoring System at all times.
- Conducts tests, checks and other preventive maintenance activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedules and notify line management of discoveries and trends that may lead to future failures.
- Identify competency deficiencies and request assistance through line management.
Requirements
- Higher Educational Qualification in Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering discipline
