Key Responsibilities

  • Implement equipment improvement projects to improve equipment efficiency, cost reduction and reliability of equipment
  • Forecast financial budgets for equipment expenditures. Setup tracking system to monitor expenditures
  • Set targets, goals, and projects for the section to minimize wafer scrap, equipment cost per wafer, optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet operational needs
  • Provide feedback / training to AEs and TAs on their troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, decision making, risks assessment
  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for closure of issues / events. Provide guidance to Junior Engineers
  • Self audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements

Requirements

  • PhD / MSc / Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics
  • 5-8 years relevant experience in semiconductor industry. EPI expert.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different cultures.
