Key Responsibilities
- Support PSDownerin safety planning and execution, including hazard identification, contractor coordination, and control of high‑risk activities (energy isolation, confined space, hot work, chemical de-inventoryingetc).
- Ensure PSD readiness and compliance, byvalidatingpermitsystems, isolation plans, emergency response arrangements, and post‑PSD recommissioning safety checks before return‑to‑service.
- Establish,implementand verify safe work practices forhigh riskwork activities such as work at heights, confined space entry, LOTO, hotwork etc.
- Support stakeholders to ensure their task risk assessments, method statements,competencyand control measures are in place before work commencement
- Manage and own electronic PermitToWork system (ePTW)
- Analyze data toidentifyrecurring risk trends, weak controls, gaps, and drive corrective & preventive actions, translating learning into safety promotion and champaigns
- Ensure our right tooperatethrough continuousownership andcollaboration with stakeholdersand regulators(NEA, SPF, SCDF, MOM)
- Maintain and own GFS License Management System (LMS) including critical licenses and permits
- Develop,implementandmaintainContractor Safety Management Program to ensure compliance with GFSEHSSRequirements
- Prepare,planand conduct mandatory EHSS briefing, training for contractors onboarding
- Plan and execute targetedsafety promotion programs and campaignsaligned with best practices, incident learnings, high‑risk activities, safetysuggestionand feedback
- Promote near miss and hazard reportingand continuoussafetyimprovement
Requirements
- Develop,implementandmaintainContractor Safety Management Program to ensure compliance with GFSEHSSRequirements
- Serve as theSecretary to theSCM, ensuring meetings are conductedin accordance withWSH requirements, with proper agenda, minutes, attendance, and records maintained
- Manage and support chemicals across the full lifecycle fromprocurement approval, storage, use, transfer, and disposal) to ensure alignment with GFS and regulatory requirements
- Support stakeholder ownership ofinspection, testing, and maintenanceof all material handling equipmentin accordance withmanufacturer requirements, statutory regulations, and site semiconductor standards
- Develop, implement, and govern GFS safety training framework, ensuring mandatory, task‑specific, and refresher training programs meet GFS, regulatory and corporate standards (e.g.WSH, ISO 45001, SEMI, internal requirements, New Employee Orientation training and contractor onboarding safety training)
- Own and lead GFSPPE Program Ownership & Governanceincluding hazard‑based PPE selection, standards setting, lifecycle management, and alignment with risk assessments, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Required Qualifications
- Min 4 years operational and workplace safety experience
