Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Coordinate with other engineering functions to release product improvements and new products.
- Apply basic engineering and Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to estimate costs, reduce manufacturing expenses, and improve product quality.
- Determine time standards and provide recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
- Develop and utilize test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
- Determine root causes and corrective actions for assembly or system testing issues; perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and provide reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of related experience
