Key Responsibilities
- Strategically optimize the complex, periodic shutdowns & turnarounds to minimize duration and cost while maximizing safety and work quality
- Standardize best practices, leveraging data and advanced planning tools, and driving continuous process improvement across all turnaround phases
- Develop efficient and effective quality planning for TA work requests, which include multi-disciplinary equipment – mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, analyzers and civil
- Drive improvements in TA Planning Processes (i.e. simplification, adopt best practices), cost (i.e. using frame agreements), productivity (i.e. mechanization, digitalization, HoTT…) and quality systems
- Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement the Turnaround Quality Plan in alignment with company standards, procedures and work instructions
- Establish quality procedures in relevance to Turnaround manual and checklists for all turnaround activities in accordance with Asset Management team
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all turnaround work packages complies with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC requirements and procedures
- Plan Quality audits and lead pre-job briefings with the contractors to reinforce quality expectations
- Lead & guide the QA/QC Engineer for the TA planning & execution phases
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years in process plant turnaround and maintenance activities
- Strong knowledge in quality management, i.e flange management, QA/QC process
- Strong knowledge in process plant inspection techniques & requirements – ASNT specifications, API / ASME requirements, WPS/PQR and welders’ qualification, ASME PCC-1, etc
- Knowledge of process plant production and maintenance, including contractors’ supervision & management
- Analytical, continuous improvement mindset, good communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills, capable change champion/agent
