Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically optimize the complex, periodic shutdowns & turnarounds to minimize duration and cost while maximizing safety and work quality
  • Standardize best practices, leveraging data and advanced planning tools, and driving continuous process improvement across all turnaround phases
  • Develop efficient and effective quality planning for TA work requests, which include multi-disciplinary equipment – mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, analyzers and civil
  • Drive improvements in TA Planning Processes (i.e. simplification, adopt best practices), cost (i.e. using frame agreements), productivity (i.e. mechanization, digitalization, HoTT…) and quality systems
  • Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement the Turnaround Quality Plan in alignment with company standards, procedures and work instructions
  • Establish quality procedures in relevance to Turnaround manual and checklists for all turnaround activities in accordance with Asset Management team
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all turnaround work packages complies with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC requirements and procedures
  • Plan Quality audits and lead pre-job briefings with the contractors to reinforce quality expectations
  • Lead & guide the QA/QC Engineer for the TA planning & execution phases

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years in process plant turnaround and maintenance activities
  • Strong knowledge in quality management, i.e flange management, QA/QC process
  • Strong knowledge in process plant inspection techniques & requirements – ASNT specifications, API / ASME requirements, WPS/PQR and welders’ qualification, ASME PCC-1, etc
  • Knowledge of process plant production and maintenance, including contractors’ supervision & management
  • Analytical, continuous improvement mindset, good communication skills
  • Good stakeholder management skills, capable change champion/agent
