Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a finance enterprise partner, providing insights through financial analysis, and advice to meet business objectives or solve business problems.
- Serve as thought partner and leader in driving value creation in our portfolio, drive transparency to make smart business decisions in support of our ambition.
- Seek opportunities to self-align interests with business needs and impact, while committing to action
- Use analysis techniques to build and maintain shared understanding between team and stakeholders
- Advice and counsel the different stakeholders on financial implications of strategies, actions and decisions; looking for innovative solutions with the team
- Work with relevant stakeholders in business planning (sales and resources)
- Review of monthly financial result and analysis with key stakeholders to derive insights that value adds in meeting business needs and supports decisions making.
- Ensure compliance to internal controls, policies & procedures on management reporting
- Collaborate with other key Finance players in Roche, including Roche Global RSS (Shared Services), ERP Analytics and Centers of Expertise (e.g. CoFI, Champions and Global Networks), to ensure requirements for new solutions and enhancements are managed and delivered effectively.
- Seek and build opportunities to partner and collaborate with local and global networks
- May coach colleagues and help others develop expertise/skills. Understands and lives the Finance Framework, mindset and behaviors.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting and analysis; as a proven business partner is preferred.
- Knowledge around ERP systems/SAP preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical preferred
- Knowledge/ exposure to agile principles or working methodology will be of advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Experience in delivering innovative solutions (example: process simplifications in RPA & etc would be of advantage)
