Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
- Test, calibrate, fine-tune, and troubleshoot complex analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Meet the daily/Monthly output with acceptable quality.
- Collaborate on developing methods and procedures to enhance manufacturing processes, improving cycle-time, yield, and unit cost.
- Crosstrain in other manufacturing tasks to provide support as needed.
- Strive for continuous improvement to ensure products meet customer expectations for performance, quality, and reliability.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipment.
Requirements
- Higher education or Specialized training/certification. Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemistry or a related field is acceptable for entry-level roles.
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics with relevant experience in chemical preparation will also be considered.
- Experience in working with analytical instruments preferably with Mass Spec background.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
- Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.
