Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision.
  • Lead or execute engineering projects, including the development of key suppliers.
  • Develop, design, or modify engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications of complex scope.

Requirements

  • PhD/Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment design or troubleshooting experiences.
  • Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
  • Proficiency in simulation and analysis methods (FEA, thermal analysis, and tolerance analysis).
  • Strong background in Thermal, Compressible flow, Engineering Design, Machining & manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to craft clear engineering documentation and clearly communicate complex concepts.
  • Ability to form effective cross-functional relationships and communicate product design/mechanical requirements clearly to non-experts.
