Key Responsibilities
- Lead the early phases of refinery capital investment projects, including conducting technical and business evaluations.
- Prepare investment concepts and lead pre-study and feasibility studies to finalize project scope for definition and execution decisions.
- Manage project lifecycle responsibility including overseeing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up planning.
- Facilitate Business Engineering Alignment Meetings and provide training on investment management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in asset development, investment systems, and processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Technical, Operations, Maintenance, HSSEQ, Finance, and Procurement departments.
- Coordinate with external EPCs, QPs, authorities, Technology Providers, vendors, and contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of cross engineering field, production economics, operations, and technology.
- 5-7 years of experience in a combination of operations and capital investment projects within oil refining, petrochemicals, or similar industries.
- Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Good in communication, presentation and EQ.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work with both internal global teams and external technology providers.
