Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering activities for NCE projects in the pilot plant, collaborating with Chemists, Operations, and Engineering teams to review scale-up requests and identify optimum plant configurations for efficient process transitioning

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical or related engineering field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or process engineering in pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry
  • Practical experience with process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Experience supporting equipment and computer system commissioning, qualification or validation
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), health and safety requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to clear, respectful collaboration
  • 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environments
  • Experience with continuous manufacturing, process analytical technology or process modeling
  • Knowledge of cleanroom standards and operations relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience with Biopharma synthesis workflows and scale-up, including familiarity with solid phase synthesis, purification techniques (e.g. IEX chromatography, TFF/UF/DF), freeze drying
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance or manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP, MES)
