Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex valuation projects, providing high-level IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Drive the development and delivery of robust valuation opinions, transaction models, and financial advisory insights that inform client decision-making.
- Lead business development efforts, build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities for service growth, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives including publishing articles and leading client workshops on emerging accounting and valuation topics.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level team members, fostering technical excellence, professional growth, and a collaborative culture.
- Collaborate cross-functional teams in valuations, financial due diligence, corporate finance, audit, and other advisory services to coordinate solution delivery for clients.
- Ensure quality, integrity, and compliance of deliverables and risk management throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Represent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a recognized university, complemented by professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting advisory, preferably within a Big 4 environment, with deep expertise in complex areas including business combinations, merger accounting, group restructuring, joint operations, share-based payments, revenue recognition, service concession arrangements, financial instruments, derivatives, and hedging.
- Strong command and hands-on experience in preparing complex consolidation entries and overseeing consolidation accounting for large and diverse groups.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and large-scale projects successfully.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to confidently lead technical workshops, seminars, and client presentations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop client relationships, engage stakeholders, and drive business growth in a competitive market.
- Highly analytical and adaptable, able to thrive in dynamic and unstructured environments.
